Home Depot *in store only* . 24 pack AA or AAA RayOVac alkaline batteries... $4.88 plus tax.. Page has other RayOVac deals (various pack sizes free with $45 purchase)

When you run out of rechargeables (or don't use them).. 21.6 cents/batt (6.25% sales tx where I'm at)),, not bad.

Hope that link works, never tried this before!

Husband came back and said he didn't see them but they had

Rayovac Alkaline packs for $9.88 with 30AA & 30AAA in the reusable containers. Better deal if you can get it. UPC is 012800516919. I don't see it on the website. Receipt says ALKALINE AA30 + AAA30 PRO PACK.

They have it a lowe's for $19.99 here (so you can see what it looks like.) Good luck!

I know I always need extra batteries to include with Christmas presents that require batteries and don't always come with them.

I bought 4 packs of AA and 3 packs of AAA. They were in the middle of the cleaning supplies aisle in their own stand. Nowhere near the regular battery display.

Confirmed on the double 30 pack - I went to the Home Depot in Merrifield, VA with the intention of buying one 24 pack of AA and one 24 pack of AAA, but it was cheaper to get the single pack of 30 AA and 30 AAA together. There was an entire stack of this 60 pack of batteries in with the other holiday stuff toward the front of the store near the tools/registers.

Lowes had a similar deal starting on turkey day for 36 packs of ~5.90. Liked that better than the HD deal as if you wanted more of one type than the other you weren't tied to equal of both. Just opened the first one up so can't say how good they are yet.

I have used plenty of the Ray-O-Vac batteries in the past they are 99% if not as good as Duracell and Energizer.
