part 1)

I kegged up my last brew and its tasting might fine. I will be quite happy with that one. Its dark, smooth, and strong. Has distinct chocolate tones, oatmeal notes in the foam, and a smooth finish that leave the tounge wagging for more.

part 2)

I made up a batch of

Sprecher Rootbeer. Its the yummiest rootbeer I have ever had. Going to pick up some vanilla ice cream today and make a float tonight.

:D:beer:

if you don't like licorice then don't get the Homemade brand of Rootbeer Extract. I tried this a couple of years ago, and it is overpowered by a black licorice flavor.

Gnome extracts are supposed to be pretty good.

Sprecher, like I said, is great, and it comes as a sryup, so you don't have to mess around with dissolving sugar. I think I paid $14 for 1 gal on of syrup (makes 5 gallons).

5 gallons of rootbeer? I guess you're keeping your dentist gainfully employed :p

You made your own Sprecher root beer? Wow. My wife would kill for the ability to do that. She used to ahve it shipped out to her when she was in San Diego for COllege.
