Well boys and girls, its been a couple of months since my last brew session and today is the day. I am making a pale ale that will be a winter warmer!
1# pale malted barley (belgium)
7# LME pale extract
3.3# LME amber extract
2.0# LME wheat extract
1 oz chinook (bittering), kent goldings (partial bittering/flavor), and styrian (flavor) hops.
I expect this beer to come in around 8 % alcohol.
**update: after measuring the density (1.092), it could come in at 9 or 10 % abv. almost a barley wine....
