Homebrew Report #250953

Well, this weekend I got 2 batches going. 1 in a california common in the anchor steam tradition. The other is a holiday beer with nutmeg, orange peel, cinnamon, ginger, and honey.

The common will be ready in a few weeks. The holiday beer will be ready, well, for the holidays.

yummmy for me!

ditto

i totally agree. I would of never made this beer, if I hadn't first tasted it at my local homebrew shop. The spices are not overwhelming, in fact many people would be hard pressed identifying their presence. The ginger is the most noticable as it stays around on the tounge after the beer is long gone. But again...its just a hint...not like eating a ginger snap.

Now, my most recent batch, is nothing but BEER. Technically its a ale, but its not too sweet, not too malty, not too bitter, not too hoppy. Its is exactly average. and its very good....but then again, most homebrew is.

cheers and beers atot.
