Recently, my Sony 6.1 Home Theatre AV Reciever half crapped out. It displays video fine, but not audio. When I try to do a test tone, it says it does it, but no sound comes out. And, yes, I made sure it wasnt muted, the volume was up, etc. And the Sony support site has no support for my product. WTF?!?!
 
Open it up and look for a blown fuse. If that ain't the problem, you may be screwed. It will cost at least $20.00 to diagnose it, and no less than $50.00 to make the repair.
