good idea rallispec, But why is it that most people do not use Logitech speakers for their TVs but they it for their computers? Are logitech speakers i.e z560 one of the best speakers for their value even for a TV?
speakers are speakers.. Whether you hook them up to a tv or computer.. they'll sound the same. And for the money, i dont think you can the sound quality of the logitechs.
Most people woudnt use them as home theater speakers becuase they'd prefer larger more earthshaking sound that only expensive, large speakers can deliver. But if you are satisified with how they sound-- then thats all that really matters, right?
my advice would be to hook them up to your tv.. and see what you think. If you like how they sound (and my guess is that you will

) then get another set for your tv.. if not-- start looking for cheap speakers elsewhere.
when i was at school and coudnt bring my large home theater speakers.. my kilpsch's worked great... i loved the difference they made.
go to circuitcity.com and look at the home theater packages for less than than 300 dollars.. the most powerful one is a the sony which is only 160 watts. The ONLY advantage it has over computer speakers is the dolby digital / dts / pro logic decoder and a remote.
but, if you're hooking it up to a vcr or the back of your tv-- you're not going to use any of those features. So i'd much rather go with the much more powerfull, better sounding computer speakers.
