Greets,

This is going to sound weird, but does anyone know how to make a TV screen display a 'scene' in a continuous loop.

For example, I want to build a Plasma screen above my fireplace, but when I turn off the 'TV' I want to be able to switch it over to a Picture or moving scene (like fire, brooks, trees, etc...). I know this sounds like something from the movies, but I am serious here.

Well, If you hook it up to your computer, I'm sure that you could have a 30 second video continously loop. Or if your DVD player will loop stuff.
If this isn't what you are looking for, I'm sorry, Just throwin' stuff out.

Really,

I actually work for Bill G. I live in KC, but have an office in Seattle and Redmond. I will have to catch up with him.

I know this can be done, and I know it is with a certain device, but for the life of me I have no idea what.

Perhaps Crutchfield would know.

Well, if you can get the footage you want onto DVD, you can just get a seperate player and the picture will just loop if you set it to do so.

BUMP.

Isn't there a device that will do this with images stored in memory that is more solid state than DVD?
