Home Theater Set Up

Just picked myself up a 42 inch projection tv for pretty cheap, and now I want to get it set up proper. I have an old athlon 2100+ and motherboard, which I want to make into a DVR, and use to stream videos over my network. The tv supports 1080i and has a DVI port, so my old 9800 pro should be able to output to that. So what would be a good set up? I need a tuner, software, and probably somthing else I am forgetting.

You need to find out what the "native" resolution of the TV is and send it that for the best picture quality.
