Well, I just bought a Mitsu 65" widescreen, and it's in a 15' x 11' game room that is open on the left side. I also have a 6.1 Onkyo system. I have a a couch in there right now, but don't know if I have enough room to put the rear channel in the room. I've read that the rear channel should be about 3 ft behind the listener. I don't have enough room to do that, without being too close to the tv. Will it sound ok if I just place the speaker up on the wall? What are my options? Thanks!

you can put that rear center above your listening area if it's the last resort, it won't do that much damage to sound quality, just tune it right.

buy a ceiling/wall bracket that will let you angle the rear down at you. It should work OK, not the way it was designed, but OK
