No, I haven't, though I did read where a woman gave herself a tonsilectomy over several sessions in front of the mirror armed only with scissors (sterilized).
 
You don't even want to know what I did, believe me. :Q

Of course...a triple heart by-pass just this morning. I really should have read up on it a bit more though, things got a little iffy[/] at one point but I quickly logged on to dr's-R-us.com and they talked me through it. I would suggest starting with something a little less ambitious like maybe a vasectomy or root-canal if you have a dremel.
