Home Security Systems - which one to get?

This one seems to be very popular. What do you recommend?

I may be one of the few to say this here, but i think with home security systems like this, you get what you pay for.
I looked at a number of these types of systems before i ended up spending the extra coin to have a local company come in and do the install in my home.
FWIW, my touchscreen honeywell system was around 500 bucks installed. Monitoring is around 20 a month.

^ fair enough. Who do you use and which system exactly?

I used a local company, EPS.
The system is all honeywell based with a tuxedo touch control pad.
TBH, i have never looked at the gear in the basement. It just works, and i never have to mess with it.
