Home security system with USB 3.0

I'm looking to get a home security recording system with an expandable storage capability via USB 3.0. This is because I have a 4 TB Seagate external drive that I'd like to use. The Seagate drive will operate on USB 2, albeit at a slower speed.
I was looking at the Amcrest 960H, but the expansion port for that appears to USB 2. (https://amcrest.com/amcrest-960h-4c...KwlqA8I-9LcVIfvs6x2ZixQfGl1siQVSrkhoC3YPw_wcB)

Does anyone know of a bring-your-own-disk system, or one with a USB 3.0 expansion port?

Thanks.

The limitation is the crappy amcrest dvr, not the USB 2 connection. You would need roughly more than 40 960H cameras streaming simultaneously to bog down the USB 2 connection.

You don't need all that
