Is there a good site/forum with general guidelines to walk you through the house buying process and that will list the best ways to go about doing certain tasks as well as general caveats?

The Fannie Mae Foundation has some pretty decent guides online that are worth review. Mainly focused on the financial aspects they helped us quite a bit when we bought.
