I am quite satisfied with the chairs at Staples. Of course, as mentioned, go and try them. If they are what you want in comfort and style, buy it. They are not super expensive and will last quite a while. Some minor assembly needed, but not complex.

Aren't waterproof mattress covers "krinkly" though? Never used one.

They used to be. Back in the day, they were basically cheap tarps. The materials are much better now. Per my other post:

I tried a different brand of mattress protector this time - Lucid, which has a cotton terry surface and polyurethane backing, so there's a tiny bit of cush to the top, whereas the Malouf one I got for the twin is just a polyster fabric surface (thin & slick). Just depends on what type of surface you want under your fitted sheet, I guess - fwiw, the Lucid is half the price of the Malouf in queen, so I'd lean towards that one (plus it has a bit of added softness).

The Lucid is billed as noiseless & I would say is the quietest one. Also, machine-washable (I like convenience). Both of the Zinus bed frames are tall enough to store plastic bins underneath, so you can keep a spare set of sheets & mattress protector in there if you want to.

I do tend to over-think things. Partly ADD, partly because I like to research stuff, partly because I like a good deal (I blame RossMAN), and partly because I work for a living & have more time than money, so every dollar counts - window shopping on the Internet is free! :D That makes maximizing my spending a lot easier.

As mentioned in another post, I also like the concept of 'decision fatigue' & setting things up in your life so you're not fighting yourself. Get a good setup (all the bits & pieces you need, waterproof cover, etc.), get spare parts (second set of sheets), make sure you can operate it (i.e. everything being machine-washable), etc. No hassles down the road. I even go as far as scheduling what days of the week I do which loads of laundry...that way all I have to do is a nightly review of my agenda for the next day, throw it into my schedule, and always have clean sheets. Never have to think about it again!

Ended up purchasing a used Embody. Grey rhythm on black frame with arms.

was $600.

The guy i bought from had 7 of them. 1 only had 1 arm as he used it to repair another.

He also had around 12 Aeron's which I also sat on. The Aeron's don't work for my size due to how the bottom seat cuts out.

Great deal (imo) for a $1300 chair.

If you're in the SF area and in need of one, let me know and I can get you in touch with him.
