Home network with dialup ?

pulling my hair out here, stuck with dialup on a desktop pci modem trying to share the internet on a wireless home network [keeping the wife happy] with her laptop, if anyone could show a recent guide with directions i would be greatfull, all have XP with sp2, equipment i am using.

Desktop PC XPsp2=wired
Laptop XPsp2=wireless
Belkin N1 4 port wireless router
Brother network printer
Dialup isp
Dialup pci modem

Relocated to area that does not offer HS internet, the eq above came from dsl home service i recently had.

I once did a setup with option one. Learned that even two computers using dialup simultaneously just about killed me :laugh:

Switched to satellite until broadband was offered roughly 3 years later.

getting xp to share a dialup is a night mare without throwing money around for eq that may or maynot work with what i have, jacks guide provides some instructions but thats dated 4 years old, ms has released many updates since then that has to affect those guides at some point, even if i was successfull it may verywell come to a crawl, still looking for solutions though.

the guide says 1st published in 2004, not last updated in 2004. regardless, it links to practicallynetworked which even has instructions for Vista...

you have your solution.

I'd say the best solution is to find ANYTHING other than Dial Up...

Satellite, line of sight, carrier pigeon....
