home network problem

At home, have a wireless router connected to DSL. I have one new desktop(Vista) that is wired and one laptop(WXP pro) that runs using a wireless connection. Both connect to the internet fine.
I can not share printer connected to desktop and files
Neither computer see the other
I do not know what I am doing wrong, reseted router......
Please help
