Home network problem

I just finished building my first pc. I have an existing PC that has the Cable Modem and Wireless router connected to it. I've got a laptop that accesses the internet thru it.

Well I connected my new PC to the router along with the old desktop. I can access the internet with no problem on my new pc.

I can't see the other computer from either computer. I'm running WindowsXP Pro on both of the machines. All the network settings are at defaults. Is there something I need to turn on in order for these machines to see each other so I can transfer files?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Rob

right click on my computer---properties---click on the computer name---you will see workgroup and its name. ALL of your computer have to have the same workgroup name. Remember to read on your wireless router manual for WEP security password, so that one one else beside you can see the files. NONE password = BAD wireless.
