Greetings and thank you in advance.
Yesterday my ISP was having problems and the network was down a couple of times during the day for repair of a node the csr said. After the service was restored 1 of my wired connections did not have internet, the rest of the house was fine. I have 3 wired connection through the house with access points at each. Like I said only one of the lines can not connect to the network or internet. I have a cable tester ordered and will be here tomorrow, until then does anyone have an idea of what may have happened. My question is could a channel on my modem/router gone bad or gotten damaged?

Hardware specs, how are the AP's powered, have you tried power cycled the problem AP, can you get on it locally to check config...etc...

Does your modem have a built-in router?

What is the next device in line after the modem? A router? A switch?

If the next device in line after your modem is a router, make sure the connection goes into the correct port on the router (might be labeled "Internet" or "WAN" or "modem" or it's a different color from the numbered LAN ports).

Yeah, had issues with Comcast the last few days. Rebooted Modem/Gateway, secondary LAN / Wifi router, and then PC. Seems GtG now.
