Home neck traction

I have the need to purchase a cervical traction device. I dont think that I would want one that hangs on top of the door.
I am looking at the Pronex and the Saunders Cervical Home Trac. I would love to hear from anyone that has used either of these devices and hear about their experience. Thank you.

I had used one that hung from a door it proceded to make matters much worse, ( I won't go into details). I ended up having surgery a couple months later. You situation is probably much different. What does your Doctor think.

I don't know what my problem is. I've been to several neurologists, physical therapists, and chiropractors and they haven't been able to help except when then hold onto my head and slowly pull it away from my spine.

None of them have recommended neck traction but it is the only 'technique' that alleviate my muscle spasms/tightness and sharp pains in my neck, shoulder, and face.

My main concern with the over-the-door traction is that the 'brace' goes under your jaw and I have TMJ problems already.

I would get there thoughts on the thing before using it. I was told by a dr after the fact some people it helps others it makes worse.

I haven't used a device like that. However, I do sleep with a Gravity Pillow for a few weeks to help with some whiplash. It does seem to be helping.
