Hi, the computer stores around me don't sell vid RAM heatsinks for some reason, so I'm planning to make my own. What I want to do is just cut some old heatsinks that were on old video card gpu's. How do I cut these things?

handheld saw with really fine teeth, used to cut metal. Does a damn good job of it to. Just beware of the nasty metal shavings it'll make when you cut stuff :p

if you aint got a dremel buy a cheap hack saw. it is not pretty, but is effective and gets the job done.

"sorry, I'm stupid, what's a hacksaw?"

:p You'd better just buy some sinks from a vendor, and pay someone to install them for you. :p

just put a dab of superglue in the corner of some pennies {I'd tell you to lap them( sanded smooth on one side)but that's a violation of Federal law ;) } with a dab of thermal compound in the middle and stick 'em on there, taint purty but it'll work well............
