Home LAN gaming

Hi everybody,

I'm not a newbie to networking since i already have a wired
peer-to-peer network for ICS and printer sharing purposes but LAN gaming
is a novelty to me.
My situation is that i recently got an RTS game (Cossacks: Back To
War) and i wish to play it over the LAN with my brother.

I suppose i have t install the game on both machines right?
What other configuration do i need to make so that the game could run?

Regards,
Nick Paicopoulos.

1. Can you ping both machines?
2. In the command prompt (start>run>cmd) type 'ipconfig' and it will tell you that comp's IP address so you can input it into the game.
3. If the game requires the CD, then wither you need a CD patch, or need to copy it or Image it and use Daemon tools)*

*This might violate your game's License agreement if you care about that sort of thing.
