home from the surgical center

Well I am finally coherent enough to post here. I had my sinuses roto rootered, tonsils and adnoinds removed, turbinate removed, polyps remove, uvula removed, and back of my throat and septum reshaped. I have stitches in my nose and back or my throat.

Lortab is da bomb. Take some of that stuff and nothing matters at all. All I do is sleep for about 6 hours, get up take some more, then go back to sleep.

The surgery took a bit longer than it should have because of the reshaping i\of my throat. But I will live.

wow, what was wrong that you needed all that done? I had my adenoids removed when I was a wee lad; that was a load of fun!

chronic sinus infections had just messed everything up. Plu, I have sleep apnia something fierce.

Right now I have no sense of smell, and the loretabb has me so loopy that I am barely able stay awake. I also have to irrigate my sinuses 4-5 times a day. But I am amazed at how fast I am recovering from all that was done. Main thing is that I have a lot of congestion and a sore throat.

Glad to hear that everything came out alright. (pun intended) 🙂 Hope the recovery is quick and as painless as possible.
