Does anyone know if the lender will require a credit check and paperwork from the co-owner of the house? The co-owner is my brother and he is also on the title.
 
You will both be on the loan - the property is collateral. Otherwise, you would be borrowing against his collateral - if you defaulted, he loses the house too.
