I hear there is a big controversy cause Lowes is trying to steal Home Depots hot cashiers. Offering stock options and stuff so they'll change allegiances. It's crazy man...crazy.

lol, no way!

warcrow. I love you man. It takes people like you to make the world go 'round.

lol, no way!

Some of your rant is exactly why I almost exclusively go to Lowes. Those reasons and the fact that Lowe's is cheaper.

That's never been my experience.

Lowe's has always seemed more expensive to me.

I've never had a problem at an HD.

you are teh lucky me thinks.

took me almost 3 hours in 2 trips to orde rthe screen door for my new french doors....HD employees are goons. But they are cheaper. The HD here is more "contractor" oriented, and Lowes is more home owner oriented.....really need to hit whatever store suits your needs best for the sale.

yup..dump yur HD stock. buy lowes.

lowes MUCH better customer support. they all have walkie talkies. i always get an answer to simple stuff, like the exact day when the sold out product comes in.

Customer Service will vary store to store. Our store is notoriously bad for understaffing and leaving entire departments empty though. I get mobbed when I go outside of my department but am usually able to help them. Our department is usually staffed appropiately though and no customer goes without assistance.

I've been to another Home Depot where I shopped for an hour and a half and not a single associate acknowledged my presence. Truth being told that is usually my experience at Lowes as well though
