Looks like YMMV.

Sign said $99, had it checked & showed as $99.

Was this Open Box or something?

Thanks!

$99 in Gaylord, Michigan. Is this only at one store? Clearance? This seems to be very YMMV.

They had a stack in middle of the aisle by checkout with bunch of $99 signs half covered with $49 signs on all sides of the stack (maybe 10-12 units). New units, not open box or refurbs. It scanned in as $49 at checkout. I got one, guy next to me grabbed a couple. This was on 1/11 (Sun). My box has the $99/$49 sign still on it. Who knows, maybe it was a store overstock.

Looks like it's a independent store thing. Momoman at fw said the Alahambra, CA store had it on sale but sold out the first day and Gardena store did not mark it down at all. So definitely a YMMV...call first .

Thanks for the follow up

I'll check again but I don't think I'll call though. If you do the employee's will scoff them up.

Ryobi makes excellent equipment, i've had one of their drills for 4.5 years now and it works as good as the day I bought it. I use it very often and the rechargeable battery still has a lot of juice after so long. This is a great deal.

I figured that after the weekend I would stop in & check the price again.
The scan at the register is still $99.

I may ask Kato to pick my lotto numbers !
