Home Depot: $29 Train Set

I snagged this on Black Friday, but the deal is still going on:

This is a giant, cheap, plastic train set. Great for little kids who are going to smash it anyway. Tracks fit together super easy and can be configured in 4 ways. Requires batteries (4 "C" batteries for the train and a single 9V for the remote control).

Just a quick warning - it is HUGE! The default oval track configuration is like five feet long haha. I was going to wrap it around the Christmas tree, but it ended up taking the entire living room floor haha.

Aint gunna be to good. Got one that looked same last year got used few times if that much.. then threw in trash. Slow doesn't follow track well but maybe I got a dud.. the smoke it blew out was cool tho :/

It's possible to go under a tree. Just use the curved track and make a circle. I've done it for several years now.

Yeah, we set it up like that a few days into playing with it. Nice that you can change the track layout :thumbsup:

Yeah, this isn't the smoke one, one of my buddies mentioned that his old one did smoke too. This one has been great so far! I don't know how they can sell it for so cheap...
