I'm looking for some front midrange speakers. Does anyone know any reputable online stores or sites to get good prices. I would like to find a nice set of Klipsch or maybe yamaha, depending on what kind of deals there are out there.

But can I trust the sites that come up on cnet and pricegrabber. I'm looking to see if anyone has dealt w/ anywhere that has good prices. I would never order anything from crutchfield (way over-priced).

Klipsch are great speakers IF you like that bright sound. Yamaha speakers SUCK. Yamaha makes good receivers, but lousy speakers. I got a decent deal on some INfinity speakers at www.onecall.com allthough they don't sell INfinity anymore. You should check out Paradigm and PSB too. B&W are great, but they're a little more pricey.

One would hope that you have gone to a good stereo store and heard the speakers you want first...if so, you should try pricegrabber to get the best deal.

I am buying a nice set of Paradigms soon...will be paying about 700 for Fronts and center speakers. Could not find an internet dealer for them, though.

Why not build this pair of speakers? For $320 or so you can have one of the nicest sounding set of midrange mains on the market for under $2,000! Meaning these speakers put to shame almost any others up to $2,000 for a fraction of the cost. I built a pair and they sound phenomenal! Highly recommended.
