Okay, do any of you guys know anything about A/C? and how it works?..

Well, i have a little problem at home with my A/C.

It tents to freeze up alot while the i set the temperture at 74 degrees. If i let it run for over night on "auto" during sometime of the night period it will freeze up.

I have to set it to 75degrees to allow it to run normal..

I mean...A/C's are able to go lower then that temperture right?....What's wrong with it?....

What do i need to do?...Do i have to clean something?...or replace something?...HELP THANKS

Sounds like the evaporator coil may be dirty, or the unit may be low on refrigerant...

http://www.accheckup.com/evap_clean.htm#

find info like this with google.

you may have a refrigeration leak if you have frost on the suction and discharge lines. you may want a pro to look at it.

check the lines for leaks...may have been hit outside with a lawnmower or kids palying with them etc...

With 409 a brush and water. Do both the inside coil and outside. To defrost it turn the system to off and run the fan.

Oh and there are two things that will cause your symptoms. Low charge and restricted airflow.
