40+ at a bare minimum. This week I'll be spending 64 just at work, & probably another 6 or so at home.

Naaa, the diamond members are just losers who have been here a little longer than the golden or senior losers ;) (in most cases any way!)

<< 12.011 * 6.02^10*23... >>

I don't remember exactly what element that is (I'm pretty sure it's carbon), but uh, what're you trying to say? What's all this molar crap gotta do with anything?

I know that's the number of particles in a mole, I was just asking what it had to do with anything.

Wouldn't you have to convert the atomic mass of carbon into moles first then divide it by Avogadro's number to find the number of atoms in a X amount of carbon?

Nope, a mole is simply that amount (quantity, not mass) of particles. Whether it be carbon atoms, or CO2 molecules, a mole is simply 6.02x10^23 of that particle.

So 1 mole of C would be 12g, whereas 1 mole of O would be 16g, and 1 mole of CO2 would be 44g.
