Link - This is from Michael Yon, an independent journalist that embeds with different units in Iraq and report stories to his own site. Don't click through for pic unless you have a strong stomach.

The few remaining serious troublemakers are being hacked off and mulched in these incessant operations, which gives the enemy no rest (in the old days, when they were murdering Iraqis and Americans by the thousands, AQI used Tal Afar for training and R&R). These types of terrorists used to lay up with prostitutes in downtown Tal Afar, which isn?t so uncommon ? for years brothels have been an excellent source of information against al Qaeda from Mosul to Baghdad. The al Qaeda terrorists don?t save themselves for the seventy two virgins promised to suicide bombers. They love drugs, prostitutes, and the power of the gun. The gay al Qaeda informant in Moment of Truth in Iraq is classic. Whenever his al Qaeda lovers abused him, he supplied American forces information to kill them.

Payback, b!tch, yadda yadda yadda.

Err there's only one pic. And while it is a little...distressing(?) it's not that disturbing. Well maybe it is.

The informant was not al-qaeda. He is in al-gaeda. the g and q are commonly mistaken.

Ok, I read the post on the guy's site, and I have one question: I guess I can buy the comment about the ring, but how does wearing a watch signify one as a "holy warrior"?

*look at my wrist*

I must be a "holy warrior" and didn't even know it!

Because of the photoshopped on tattoo?

The person in the picture has writing accross his chest, but it was obviously added to the photo. So the question I have here is who doctored the photo, and why?

The writing on his chest says ?Mujahadeen Tal Afar.? American soldiers told me this image was captured in a raid.

Mujahadeen (or Mujahadi according to some of the comments) = Holy Warrior

Tal Afar = Iraqi City where the raid took place.

The Holy Warriors who were in the house that was raided were probably the ones that doctored the photo...kind of like a baseball card or something to say they were there.

How on earth is any man supposed to entertain 70 virgins if he has never been able to reliably locate the G-spot?

From here

Al Qaeda is still trying to spin Iraq into civil war, but whereas in 2005-2006 al Qaeda was succeeding, today al Qaeda is being shredded.

An Iraqi officer near Sinjar told me that recently a group of perhaps twenty ?jihadists,? many of them foreign, descended on a Nineveh village. The Iraqi officer said the terrorists killed some adults and two babies. One baby they murdered was 15 days old.

Until recently, such terror attacks inside Iraq could have coerced the village into sheltering Al Qaeda. Yet this time, the ?jihadists? got an unexpected reception. Local men grabbed their rifles and poured fire on the demons, slaughtering them. Nineteen terrorists were destroyed. Times have changed for al Qaeda here. Too many Iraqis have decided they are not going to take it anymore. Al Qaeda in Iraq is still fighting, and they are tough and wily, but al Qaeda Central seems to realize there are easier targets elsewhere, perhaps in Europe, where many people demonstrate weakness in the face of terror.

Al Qaeda was apparently not in Iraq before this war, and at the current rate they will not be here when it?s over. The Iraqi Army and Police are doing most of the work these days, but their own operations are significantly augmented by what we bring to the fight.

interesting.

Well I would think virgins would have no way of knowing if you were terrible in bed, which is imagine is the appeal of that particular fantasy. Someone who enjoys a good roll in the hay would want a partner who knows what they are doing, but if you're some inexperienced guy who couldn't find he way around down there with a map and a flashlight, I imagine the last thing you'd want is for your fantasy girl(s) to be able to tell how bad you are.

Although I have to say, even here in America, you'd think being able to make sure the woman enjoys herself too was like flying the space shuttle or something given how many men seem to have problems in that particular area.
