Holy Supes! Did anyone see the Superman Returns previews for the XBox 360?

If the game looks and plays 1/2 a good as what I'm seeing in the gaming magazines this month, the XBox 360 just topped my Christmas list 😀 In one of the mags a demo was shown where Superman was knocked into a 30 story building, the building collapsed, and Supes popped out of the rubble and beat the snot out of a robot using the debris from the building- now THAT'S COOL!

I guess they made Metropolis to scale too- it's 100 square MILES of explorable space, and you can fly between 300 and 700 MPH (!) through the skyscrapers.

I :heart: Superman...I hope they finally get it right and make a good game about him. From the looks of things though, this is a home run!

None of the websites has pics yet. The gaming magazines were showing the first screen shots this month. They just came out yesterday, so it'll be a few days before we see any pics on the gaming sites.

Are you serious? That's *insane*, especially for a movie series were 50% of the releases were complete crap.

Yeah...movie companies are through half-assing movies about cultural icons. The story line looks great too: Superman leaves for 5 years to find out what happened to his home world. He arrives to find nothing but a wasteland, so he returns to Earth only to find people have leared to live without a hero saving the day. He's shunned and viewed as a freakish outcast now.

This type of story will prevent a lot of corny cliches and show big blue in a whole new light.
