I placed a tech support call to Dell at 9:20 am. At 11:00 am the replacement part was handed to me at my desk. It was shipped via UPS SonicAir from Orlando, which is an hour away.

Un freakin believable.
 
We once paid $150 to ship something Sonic Air from CST (about 10am) to Las Vegas (PST). It didn't get there till Saturday. Their Sonic Air stuff is pretty hit or miss IMO. You're lucky the locale was close enough.
