OH MAN,
the guy listed the car under the wrong name (924) but from the pics i can tell its a 928s4.... im SO calling him tomorrow morning

hmm looking at the car its definite not an 87 928 (the front end is older). Ill have to call him up and figure out whats up

Top speed on an 87 is 162MPH auto 165 manual. 0-60 - 6.3 auto 5.7 manual.

They changed very little from 78-88. I've owned a 78 and an 86 (still have in my dads garage). Great cars but unfortunately referred to as a "ladies porsche". Maintenence is a bitch. Even changing the spark plugs. If it is an 87 at least it would have a single disc clutch. Only car I love more than my 300Zs.

You can pick up decent 78-84s for about $5000 and good 84-86 for around $7000

I understand that 928s are incredibly expensive to maintain.

Yea it is probable a 924. Porsche had some left over body's for the 924 line so they made a special run in 87 using them, but they put in the standard SOHC 2.5L 944 motor.
