Whatever happens, just remember this: It's all your fault. ;)

Seriously though, hope everything works out.

i'm not surprised, it's not like my mom cares about us anyway. she has no friends and she's kinda a totalitarian figure.

Well you're nineteen years old. You'll get over it rather quickly. It will feel odd though because you've lived with both of them your entire life. You'll get over it.

Sometimes you just have to part ways. When one isn't happy and can't be happy at all even through working things out... it's just time to part ways.

Whoa there, sounds like you've got more than just a divorce on your hands.

I suspect your mom does care about you more than you know, but that for whatever reasons she hasn't been able to effectively demonstrate it to you.

Just tell you parents that if they split up, you INSIST on going to see a good counselor. The whole family should spend at least 6 months in therapy. Otherwise, nothing really changes or gets better.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully the split won't be bad if they decide to go through with it.

My parents split 1 1/2 years ago, after 30 years of marriage. I'm still trying to adjust to it.
