This is kinda long, but I almost hit a deer / tree tonight....
So I am going home after a party (45mph) and this deers jumps on my way right infront of a very sharp intersection. It's 2 AM, so the roads are empty. Well, to prevent hitting the deer, I take the corner going 45 mph, and hit the brakes at the same time (stupid). Well the ABS locked down, and I am scared to death, sliding sideways. Looked through my window, saw this tree, and thought I was going to die. Well, I pulled the e-brake, pushed hard on the gas pedal, my left foot still on the clutch, and released e-brake while pulling off the clutch... well the car just made a 90-degree turn and I stayed on the road and finally stopped.
I don't know if audi's quattro helped or not but oh god, what a night... I came home like an hour ago and I sat on my kitchen counter, have been drinking since then.
I could have been in the hospital right now, so I am just gonna say "I am lucky as heck".
