I had to drive all over Bloomington-Normal today, and the damn place is flooded - a few of my friends are stuck here because their mustang got flooded - to the hood (they didn't think it was that deep) - damn, the damn place is underwater right now . . ..

My parents live in Peoria. A week ago they were saying that they need more rain.

It's even in New England somewhat. I was driving down I-91 this afternoon and by the time I got south of the airport the rain was so bad the traffic was crawling.
Wierldy enough though when I left Hartford at 7pm the sun was out.

Holy crap salem? I didn't know people there had computers I'm originally from Centralia btw. Maybe we can have a southern illinois at meetup yet!

seriously, the only thing that exists out of the chicagoland area is U of I and thats about it. Rest of the state is pretty much just corn...

I'm in Champaign, IL and it's rained quite a bit here today, along with multiple tornados. The tornado sirens were sounding for hours today.

It sucks, because my DirecTV is out.

(for the ignorant, the sat signals can't get through heavy storm clouds and flooding rain.)

Haha at least its better than the freakin hail storm we had in NW IL about 5 days ago...

our insurance agent said the insurance rate will go up for EVERYone because of it...

hmm I was born in Bloomington went to Normal Community HS (keep down the laughter please) my wife said she talked to my Mom that still lives there but she said nothing of flooding. I guess she's getting old.

Bloomington-Normal is so flat there is nowhere for water to go...

Send the rain here my lawn is looking bad!

it didnt hit us around here in Elk Grove but the hail did a sh!tload of damage on one of my friend's cars

yep.. it did quite ALOT of damage....

our new Civic got damage pretty badly.. many many dents and few are about quarter size ..

a friend's 2 month old camry was in similar situation.. adjuster gave em $5k for repairs.
