QBasicGorillas.gif

I couldnt find one in monochrome, which is how I first played it.

I think I just listened to the whole Vice City OST on Spotify!

Oh...the good ol' days....How I miss you 🙁

oh yeah? well sonic generations had every single thing i liked about the entire series.

green hill zone music ftw

i had nostalgia surges the entire time i played that game.

Only nostalgia for me was the super nintendo but when i first played super mario brothers the game for most was already a classic cause i was first playing it in 1997...

10 Years ago is in the past, and it indeed is a very LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG period of time.

It's not THAT long unless you're really young.

Nostalgia is most often associated with childhood memories and feelings. Most of us were probably in our late teens or early 20s during the PS2 years, so its hard to get choked up by Grand Theft Auto.

I think nostalgia, I think SNES, NES, Atari, and DOS/Windows 95.

I'm only 27 and the PS2 generation doesn't seem old to me. Old to me starts with the 16bit generation minimum.

Well in all fairness VC is nine years old so it's starting to get into double digits territory. I don't see anything wrong with calling that game nostalgic. I don't see it as that but for the younger gamers out there I'm sure it is since 9 years is an appreciable percentage of their lives.

enter a room cast sleep or stinking fog on the group blocking the entrance then fireball the hell out of those beyong them.

Yup. I absolutely loved strategizing an encounter with something like that, combining the use of the terrain conditions and your spells.

Always remember to be very careful in casting fireballs because friendly fire is possible (learned that the hard way, of course). Lightning bolt is also fun because the wall bounces it back so you have to take into account the line the bolt is taking coming back, which may be towards one of your characters (learned this the hard way as well).
