People can improve. I remember in my calc II class there was this guy in front of me who always complained about the class, laughed about the professor (an older nerdy dude) being a virgin or loser or whatever, and slept through the majority of lectures. He didn't drop this class but only showed up for maybe a couple of the last ~5 weeks' lectures. Three years later, the dude (an undergraduate) somehow has his own office in the engineering building, as a mechanical engineer.

This is just something new to TridenT that he will need to climb over. Once he does, he will be writing up proofs like a boss.
