Holy Lord :Q :confused: :(

I usually don't wear a cup when I play floor hockey.......... but last night I got sacked (well half sacked...... since it only hit one of them) :(

The pain............. argh :(

Over the last 10 years I've never been sacked while playing floor hockey............. unless I was goalie but I had a goalie jock which took the pain :p

I have a buddy who played football (yes, American football) but refused to wear a cup because they were uncomfortable. He got what was coming to him as well. :p

Unrelated, but amusing/horrifying:

My buddy played ice hockey as a kid in a kiddie league. One of his friends received a slapshot to the cup, which split it in half, but caught some of "him" and snapped back into place, pinching him! Yeowww!

And COMPETELY unrelated, the same buddy was picking on his wife in a joking manner, and I told her "Let me show you an easy martial arts hold that you can use when he's picking on you... Now, I'm only going to twist your arm this far, so don't worry... " I go to show her the hold, and she freaks out, and doublefists me with both hands, with all of her stength, right in the jewels....

Now I already knew she was slightly psycho, but I CERTAINLY wasn't expecting that! Needless to say, the only comment I had was "Hey! Wha? errrg... Ugh........" and I fell to the floor for about 10 minutes... Luckily for her she had effectively disabled me, because I woulda strangled her! ;)

In HS I used to play football, and I was the center and never wore a cup. If my QB wanted to be a dick, all he had to do was remove his hands early, and I wound up nailing myself in the nuts with the football. It was painful :(

In the five years I trained martial arts I never wore a cup. I was always able to make sure blows didn't land squarly so it never bothered me to not wear one...

I used to wear the strap but it would chaff........ I guess I will be using jock short ;)

Believe it or not......... to totally different sports........ roller is faster but floor you get much more exercise.

i remember my favorite history teacher at school, the guy was a hisotry buff, always collecting ww2 memorabilia in addition to other things. great teacher, not amazingly interesting, but the best of the bunch where i went to school.

me and a few guys were outside during the morning break one day, and the school required a teacher always be outside to watch the students (wed had a few idiots as the cause of this)

so it was his turn one day, and were chatting with the guy, and he brings up how he was running around his house one day and ran into a coffee table... "and after a visit to the emergency room and a stay in the hospital, i was down to just one"

one of the guys didnt get this right away, since he wasnt any more explicit....then it hit him, and his jaw just dropped

A male friend of mine once told me all it takes is too lightly brush that area and the pain can be intense:(

Sometimes that's all it takes. I know I've personally taken solid hits to the junk and been unaffected. Other times, a light tap will leave you writhing in pain on the floor.
