Okay now that I got your attention, I would like to say I have been noticing a lot of comments that have been made regarding Kyro II and its performance towards the Geforce line. Also most of this is coming from Geforce owners, which is fine, but many of the comments made seem to be uninformed or unresearched. Now realizing that the Kyro II (and any video card in actuality) has negatives as well as positives, I would have to say that the kyro II series has more positive feedback then negative. And regarding those making uninformed or unresearched remarks this link may give you a more well rounded view of the capabilities and expectations of the Kyro II series in many different benchmarks and reviews...😀

I very much doubt that considering powervr2 doesn't have as good a grasp of English as ThExorcist. No offence to powervr2 at all as his English vocabulary is good considering English isn't his first language.

Good luck with your exams powervr2. When I first got Voodoo 2 SLI and Quake II, I flunked OChem. Don't play to much with your KyroII.
 
This is not the first time, the last time was accusing PowerVR2 to be ironduke. They were more similar than ThExorcist. Just similar not the same.
 
I couldnt tell he wasnt a native speaker the first time through. When I read over it more carefully I could only pick out two errors, one which was techincally correct english but not something normally said which pretty much most 2nd language speakers make and another which could have just as easily been a bad grammatical typo from someone who is a native speaker. I must say that if he is a non-native speaker then he is very good.

I think I've been pretty fair to Nvidia, I have a Geforce 2 MX and a Kyro 2. I got the Kyro 2 because I like playing games with everything on and at 1024x768. My GF2 mx just didn't cut it, I had to turn things off to get a nice smooth gameplay. I put in my Vivid XS Kyro 2 turned everything right to max and still got really smooth gameplay. That's why I recommend the Vivid Kyro 2 and it takes alot to impress me. My new Kyro 2 didn't cost too much (£85) and it makes all my games look and play great. Isn't that the main thing?

Yet rarely do we see any long term members joining the Kyro2 bandwagon, with the exception of Teasy. You may also notice most have their profile disabled..

Nah, couldn't be some sort of thought out plan by a Kyro owner or 2.....

I was a big fan of the PowerVR tech a while before Kyro I never mind Kyro II. I opened my site before Kyro 1 was released to, so I certainly haven't just jumped on the bandwagon.

There are also a lot of new members that come onto this forum and there first post is about how they just got there Geforce or Radeon and they really like it, but they aren't accused of somesort of conspiracy are they. The reason why this forum has quite a few Kyro II posts is because its new. And more then just being a new cards its an entirely new architecture to the majority of people. I remember before Kyro II came out when only people at B3D and some on other boards like this one really knew what TBR was. I remember when Pottsey from paraknowya went to a big Quake 3 site's forum to try to get map makers to make maps that would show off TBR (I think it was planetquake or something) and it took a few people from different PowerVR related sites to first explain to everyone on the forum what TBR was. So even though TBR isn't really a new architecture, to most people on the net its still very new and exciting and Kyro II and TBR is really catching on now.
 
I gots a Kyro II ... 😀 thing is pretty nice..I gave up my 64meg Vivo for it... I have to say this thing is kickin with my Tbird 1.3!! The only game that doesn't look as good is Motorcross Madness 2..The colors seemed washed but the rest of the games look great and play smoother..Q3 looks better than the Radeon and it was really hard for me to believe that...
