i ordered my new ram from newegg sunday night, and it shipped monday, the 21st. it has three day select shipping, which means it'll be here in three days from the shipping date. I JUST CHECKED THE EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE, AND ITS NOT TILL MONDAY!!! i could understand friday because they are closed on thursday for turkey day, but monday??!!? MONDAY?!?!?! wow, newegg just lost a lot of respect for switching to ups.

UPS has generally been pretty poor. All the distributors for my store use it though, which is rather annoying. We'll actually get boxes missing from time to time, with like 1k worth of product inside it.

I've always gotten the FedEx shipping from NewEgg.

Was delivered 2 days prior to scheduled/anticipated. Nothing wrong with that service.

My xbox 360 was shipped from Amazon yesterday, with ground shipping. It's out for delivery. 1 Day service for ground (free) price.

Eh they are ok in my book.

I do like FedEx better though.

Its happened to me scores of times. I just assume that its relatively inherent with courier companies to delay their shipments according to their schedule.
Airborne in my experience is worse.

In my experience they are generally late, leave the packages at the door without signature and do not even bother to ring a bell to let me know the parcel is here, and they handle packages poorly. The apogee was when 1) they delivered my $250 package to a wrong address (luckily I managed to recover it) and 2) I went to pick up my package once at UPS outlet, I got a nice call your package is ready and everything, but when I arrived, a 30 minute drive for itself, they didn't have it, in the end I had to go to a neighboring storage facility and wait there 45 minutes in the idling car (it was freezing outside). Two hours to pick up a frigging parcel... Yeah, great service....

The only complaint I have with UPS (besides slow service) is the fact that they seem to be delivering very late in the day. Had a package get delivered yesterday, left the outlet at 7:45am, I left my house at 7pm to go to a LAN and my package arrived sometime after that.

UPS has been pissing the sh!t out of me recently. My cell phone, shipped Next Day Air "Saver" did not arrive till 8 PM that night. Battlefield 2 Special Forces, also shipped crappy Next Day Air Saver (GameSpot gave me free next day yay!) on THURSDAY did not arrive till Monday. UPS sucks

Same thing in my area, they always deliver late. I must be at the very end of the route. I had one leave the facility at 7am the other day, and it hadn't shown up by 8pm, even though it was out for delivery. I figured it wasn't coming, so said screw waiting and I went to get something to eat. When I came back I found a frigging InfoNotice on my door.
