According to HP's website, it does support win2k. Specs on HP's site I was about to get one, but it seems to be a so-so scanner at best according to some reviews. I think I'm gonna pass.

HP is suck with scanners...It took them 7 months to release win2k drivers for the 4200C. Lot's of people were pissed, including me.

well, i happened to have a HP 4200cse and i think its has been a great scanner. With all the quick buttons and software application.

Looks like BUY.COM has an incorrect listing. Their product header says it's a 4300CSE, but the description says it's a 4200CSE and the model # listed (C7172AU) is for the 4200CSE. The picture is for a 4200CSE too.

Plus being refurbished -- Doesn't look to be a hot deal.:(:disgust:
