D00d!!! Omg Teh 1337 It RoXxOrz!1!z!OMGOMG!!!. FVCK STEAM!!! Stupid thing won't let me play HL2 until I've downloaded like an hour worth of updates! and I gotta get to bed early tonight!! I'll just have to wait until tommorow to play it.

Texture pack really worth it? Would it run well on my machine? A64 3200+, gig of memory, X800 XL.

heh tried smod out, pretty fun. too bad the help file is in japanese or something. it seems to increase load times though.
just use
"sv_cheats 1" to turn on the stuff
"exec performance_highspec" so bullet time looks like it does in fear, including space distortion from explosions, and increases gib quality and such.
"npc_create npc_metropolice" odd thing u gotta type in once for bullet time to really work😛
"infinityammo 1" always nice
"sv_inf_aux_power 1" unlimited bullet time
"impulse 101" all weapons..and goddamned theres a lot of them
"weapon_smg_firerate 0.01" and "weapon_alyxgun_firerate 0.01" so those two guns shoot insane quick, the smg just sprays literlally heh, its insane during bullet time. the game looks like fear at times..but even worse since you kick up so much stuff it obscures your view. the smg doesn't have muzzle climb so its easier, alyx gun on full auto at that rate muzzle climbs so fast in real time you cant hold it down more than a sec.
