Holy hell, gas went up 20 cents for premium in less than a week

I went to the pump sometime last week, and I payed $2.09 for premium. I just went today to fill up, and premium was $2.29, and regular was $2.09 :|. When is the madness going to stop?

Cali doesn't have things much worse than us in Michigan. Their gas is like $2.199 per gallon where here it's $1.899.
 
I bought gas at $1.67 on Sunday... I go to fill up the wife's car tonight, cheapest I could find anywhere was $1.89. Damn, wish they'd just pick a price and stick with it. In the meantime, Gasbuddy.com is my friend.
 
i drove by a shell gas station earlier today and saw that premium was $2.09. i think that's the first time i saw gas in NJ break the $2 mark.

Yup, that was I believe about 3 xmas' ago. I filled up may tank for $0.84 / gal.
