I just been sitting up here and smelt something burning then realised i left my pop tarts in the toaster.

Surely enough i went downstairs, the were burning away just like normal toast and just as i went to put my hand to the switch the fvking thing caught on fire fire :Q :Q :Q

Ive burnt toast before but that was like a tiny flame that melted the toaster, this fvking flame was like 20 cm flame :Q :Q

Nearly burnt my fvking kitchen down :|

Do you have some more? Because if you do you could just eat the other ones.

Good to see you learned your lesson after the first time you burned something in the toaster.

Maybe in the future you wont leave the toaster unattended.

i bet its on snopes

IIRC it's only strawberry pop-tarts that do that. They did an experiment where strawberry ones caught on fire quite easily, some in under 4 minutes. We had a strawberry poptart ruin our old toaster back when I was in the 2nd grade. Caught on fire. Kellogs actually had a class action lawsuit against them b/c of the strawberry poptarts

Yes it does, but its set to like 3/4 minutes for toast, i dont change it with pop tarts, i normally stand there and cancel it but im working hard on something at the moment and rushed upstairs quickly to continue with it and at the same time post on AT.

I forgot about them, they popped up while still on fire :|

IIRC, Pop-tarts have a warning on them now about this. Gotta be more careful man. It's idiots like you that sue companies because of the dumb sh!t you pull. ;) :D

Next you're gonna dump hot McDonalds coffee on your gonads aren't you? ;)

Damn. It doesn't? How about the individual wrapper for the Pop-Tarts themselves? I'm certain I've seen a warning about them catching fire on the packaging somewhere.

Also, you do know I was just busting your balls a little there, right? Just a little kidding. I'm sure you're worked up though at the thought that your whole damn house could have burned down because of a fvcking Pop-Tart, so I'll leave you alone now.

BTW, are they actually name brand, Kelloggs Pop-Tarts or generic? It's a valid question as I call the generic ones Pop-Tarts even though they're like Pop-Tasties or something. It's possible the generics use different ingredients or something that they don't have to make a warning label on them.
