I work the night shift at a hotel here in town, in fact I'm here now.

Last night I was briefed that a master drug ring leader (or something) was staying here, but wasn't actually here so I was to keep an eye out for him. Fast forward to 30 minutes ago, he gets here. He goes up to his room and I call the phone number left for me and tell them about it. Five officers have shown up with at least 3 of them toting shotguns. They just went up to his room.

Woot, keep us updated. I doubt you'll be able to hear any gunshots down where you are anyway, but if you do let us know!
 
They stopped halfway up the steps to wait for 1 more guy and alter their plan. In the altered plan they wanted me to knock on the door to investigate a pretend noise complaint. When the door opened I was supposed to "get the fvck out of the way" according to one of them. I said sure but then the other guy showed up who I guess was the leader and said definitely not. I shouldn't be in harms way or something.

They went up, I heard a door open quick but not much else. They were on the third floor on the end so I stood by the stairwell for a bit. 10 minutes later the leader comes down and says, "It went without a hitch. He's in custody now. There's a ton of drugs in the room so make sure no one goes in there till our team comes in to clean up."

Sorry ATOT, it turned out boring 🙁

A mini swat team eh? I'm imagining dwarfs running around with MP5s, is this accurate?

They'd make a good SWAT team I think; they could sneak around in the air vents, just like in the movies...

The sarge or leader or whatever his rank is canceled that plan.

I ended up not being able to participate at all 🙁 Watched Coach on tv instead :laugh:

Maybe I'm just dense, but I think it would have been exciting to be a part of it like that. More so if there were 3-4 of them and they had guns too.
 
Even more exciting if you had to go to the hospital and remove 3-4 bullets from your body.

I would like pics of these dwarf swat team members you speak of...
