It's supposed to be a pleasant and sunny 58 here near DC, but I just went outside and nearly froze my nads off.

It was windy as hell when I went for lunch... I walked outside and almost tumbleweeded away.. it was hella windy.. freaked me out !!

or it was just that windy that even fat bastard could have blown away.. 😀
but the skinnier you are, the more surface area there ISN'T for the wind to hit 😛

Just checked my little weather bug:

Winds At Several Locations Around The Area Were Gusting To In Excess Of 45 Miles Per Hour Late This Afternoon. These Winds Are Expected To Continue Into This Evening... Therefore A Wind Advisory Has Been Issued.

Wind annoys me.

This is not really windy despite there was a peak wind gust reported at 52 MPH on our starboard pitot tube 0' MSL which is impressive. Gusts don't really count unless you're in the air. Sustained wind over 60 MPH are impressive. Sustained winds over 95 MPH with gusts in the 140's are impressive. Mount Washington, NH experiences this kind of wind with regular frequency. When it's that windy, even Pictures At An Exhibition takes on a new style. :Q

Cheers!
