Not bad for a cable line. However, they've now enabled the "OMG, Bittorrent traffic, it must be Teh WaReZ0r" cap, and I'm shut down to about 16 in both directions with ATOT loading slow as hell to boot.

Fvcking internet Nazis.

No down. My up load is maxed out at 389 kb/s.

Oddly though, my 2 machines have 2 different upload speeds.

1.9mb! eep.. I have Optimum Online myself and when I was downloading a couple of Linux distros with BitTorrent I had around 100kb/s upload and 1.1mb/s download. Never really seen them higher than that before.

Get off port 6112. Stick to common traffic ports. 2300 should do, that's a NetBIOS port and we all know ISP's don't care how insecure your box is. My main problem with Bittorrent is that it RAPES my Linux router's masq table. It fills it up in a matter of minutes.

FreeSCO. I talked to the devs, they know about it, they can't do anything about it due to restrictions placed on them by the ancient kernel.

And as Iron Woode said, we're in Canada. The RIAA can go vigorously copulate with themselves using an iron rod assistant.
