With such a narrow, high-throw focus, it wouldn't appear that bright unless it was pointed directly at them. If your aim is good, you could temporarily blind them.

Yup. Theres' a quote from someones' sig at CPF that says something like, "You'd carry an umbrella if there was 50% chance of rain. Well theres' a 100% chance of darkness everyday."

I used to go crazy with them. At one point I had 9 Surefires and a few Mag mods, well over a grand worth of lights. I'm down to 3 Surefires and 2 Mag mods. But the sickness continues...

I've got 1 surefire and 1 mag mod, and a bunch of other flashlights. Some guys are really into this stuff.

Theres a guy over at CPF that I think goes by the handle jtice and he showed a picture of an entire ROOM filled with Surefires and all sorts of other lights. Insane. There had to be $30K+ worth of lights in there....
