Well, many of you keep saying, just go have some fun. If she turns out looking significantly different from what she claims she looks like, then she's likely not a confident and interesting person anyway. There isn't much fun you can have with that type of person; though you can try to make the best of that situation.

I do agree that he should go, however. If he wanted to back down, then he shouldn't have made the plans to begin with. He's got to suck up to his commitment, in my view, since that was his agreement.

Who care if her physical appearance is not up to your standard....it could turn out that she is a great person to be around with. And, if it doesn?t work out as you hope it would, then you just might gain a friend.

Obviously the original poster does care! If he didn't care, then he wouldn't have started this thread and expressed his fear that she might be ugly.

Again, there's a way to see her appearance as relevant: If she appears very different from what she claimed, then she's given a bad impression as far as her honesty. If she isn't honest, then what is there to find in her? Even if she's "sweet", it would take a lot to deal with her lack of esteem and constant desire for reassurance. Could she be a good friend? Perhaps, but a boring one or a drama Queen if she lied. LOL! 😀
 
well there must have been a reason u agreed to go otu with her..and since she didnt send any pics it wasnt her appearance.
